CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series Returns Friday for CTV Night

(Halifax, NS. July 24, 2019) After taking a mid-season break last week the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series will be back on track Friday evening for CTV Night. The racing card Friday includes the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros, Toursec Thunder & Lightning and the Strictly Hydraulics Legends. Admission for CTV Night is just $15.00 for Adults; Youth (8-15) are $5.00 and children 7 and under are free! Tickets are available at the gate on race day (cash only). Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM with racing at 7:00 PM.

Fans in attendance at Scotia Speedworld Friday evening will have a chance to mingle with CTV Morning Live hosts Cyril Lunney and Katie Kelly. Katie and Cyril are both scheduled to be at the track and will be bringing lots of CTV swag and prizes to hand out to some lucky fans!

Joining Tim Terry in the announcer booth Friday night is Sportsman driver Jeffrey Breen. Breen, from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, began his racing career in the Toursec Lightning division at Scotia Speedworld and now competes in the Chris McCormick owned No. 66 in the Late Model Sportsman division.

Reminder for Sportsman fans to mark your calendars for Friday, August 2nd as we will have not one but two Sportsman Features! The Sportsman feature that was fogged out on May 31st has been rescheduled for August 2nd. The Sportsman will run the make-up feature first and then return to the track later in the evening for their regular scheduled feature.
