Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series Ready for CKG Elevator Night

(Halifax, NS - May 29, 2024) The Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series returns for round three this Friday night at 7:00pm. Our friends from CKG Elevator, who sponsor the tracks social media feed on X (formerly Twitter), will be joining us at the track so be sure to head to Scotia tomorrow night! Grandstand gates open at 5:00pm.

In 10 Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series features in 2024, nine different drivers have emerged as winners. In total, 97 teams have competed at least once, creating both quantity and quality throughout the field in Atlantic Canada’s biggest circle track racing program.

Shelby Chisholm (Antigonish - Bluenose Pools Beginners) enters as the only repeat feature winner in 2024, winning both features the No. 12 Keltic Ford/Nova Construction Bandolero has entered. Chris Drover (Lower Sackville) and Tim Wright (Middle Stewiacke) have split Toursec Mini Stock features, Ayden Christensen (Windsor Junction) and Owen Mahar (Hubley) have the Strictly Hydraulics Legends victories while Russell Smith Sr (Lakeside) joined his son Deven Smith (Lakeside) last week as a Maritime Auto Glass Sportsman winner. It is still early in the 16-race championship chase for these classes but after this week, the point contenders will start rising to the top if they have yet to.

The Bluenose Pools Bandoleros are idle this week. Point leader Hailey Bland will co-host CKG Elevator Night from the tower with Tim Terry.

Tickets for the Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series are $20.00 for adults, $5.00 for youth (8-15), children 7 and under are FREE! All season at Scotia Speedworld. Tickets available at the gates on race day only.
